Kettle Moraine Celebrating Their Best Finish Since 2013

Franklin, WI–Divine Savior Holy Angels won their 17th title in team history in a closely fought win against rival Catholic Memorial in their 10th meeting at the state tournament.

DSHA’s Abby Keyser opened the scoring and a conversion by Jackie Jarosz helped the Dashers to a 7-0 lead. CMH’s Haley Crow responded with a long run and a conversion by Aly Cunningham to even the score just before half.

Jarosz carried the ball in for a try to help DSHA take the lead 12-7 in the second half, but she was unable to make a deep conversion from the left side of the field.

After a penalty by CMH, she was able to split the uprights from about the same distance on the opposite side of the field, giving DSHA a commanding 15-7 lead late in the game. She added another before the final whistle to ensure the victory, 18-7.
