WGR played three games this week. All the games this week proved to be competitive. Our league is lucky to have so many talented teams and girls.

Hamilton defeat Bruisers 31-7 | Great competitive match of rugby, the score stayed locked down at 7-0 through the first half. High level of competition was demonstrated by both teams.  A JV match of 12s was also played! Hamilton try scorers; Prop Liv George (2 trys), 8 Rachel Rank (1 try), Outside Center Paige Smolik (1 try), Flank Maya Desai (1 try), Conversion kicks Fly half Meghan Rank (3 Conversions).

SPASH defeated Green Bay 39-24 | The Banshees and Panthers played an intense game. Green Bay had 2 new girls that it was their first time playing 15’s. Green Bay tries were scored by: Brook Wesolowski, Lilly Dorn, & Cecelia Rose (& Penalty try that would have been scored by Little Martinez.) Green Bay Conversion by: Cece Rose. SPASH is still undefeated (3-0).

DSHA B defeated CMH 31-20 | A hard fought, back and forth game between both teams was played at Nashotah Park on Friday. In front of a large crowd, DSHA B outlasted Catholic Memorial with some gritty defense and hard running.  DSHA tries were scored by: Sonia Perkovich, Kate Ambrose, & Maria Hilbert. CMH tries were scored by Alex Maz, Lucy Wilson, and Audrey Fryda.

DSHA A defeated Pulaski 28-0 (Forfeit)
