The week opened with a great individual effort by the Bruiser’s Leah Preuss as her team faced off against Madison/Oshkosh at the “Old Gun Club” in Milwaukee. Meanwhile, Kettle Moraine secured the “win of the season” thus far by defeating Hamilton on the road for their first 15s win against the program in team history. While the game was within a point around halftime, the resilience of the Kettle Moraine forwards helped run up the score and secure the win.

Madison/Oshkosh @ Bruisers 0-56
Lea Preuss scored 5 tries and had 3 conversion kicks, scoring 31 points.

Kettle Moraine @ Hamilton 37-14
This was only second home loss for Hamilton in team history against teams not DSHA or CMH.

SPASH @ CMH 0-27
SPASH chose to forfeit so that they could play with the “open sub rule.”

DSHA @ Pulaski 64-0
Last season Pulaski lost to the eventual state champs, DSHA, 95-5.

  • Wins by Pulaski and Kettle Moraine could create a dramatic Week 5 showdown that will determine which team will head to the state semi-finals.
  • With a Brookfield loss to CMH, SPASH will advance to the state semi-finals with a win against DSHA JV.
  • Both SPASH and Hamilton close out their regular season this weekend.
