DSHA continued their win streak (that goes back to 2017). DSHA JV and Hamilton got their first win, but it was the \battle between the Bruisers and Stevens Point that proved to be the game of the week. Debuting new jerseys, the Bruisers gave Stevens Point some trouble as the contest was a far cry from the double-digit win Stevens Point was able to secure against the Bruisers last season.
SCORES FROM WEEK TWO
Oak Creek @ Hamilton 25-39
This was the first meeting of these teams during the 15s season. Oak Creek borrowed players from Hamilton to fill out their roster.
DSHA @ Kettle Moraine 97-0
While DSHA has had the better of this match-up in recent memory, these two programs are the league’s original rivalry. In 2002, Kettle Moraine was the only team to defeat DSHA for a state title in the league’s first 15 seasons.
DSHA JV @ Madison/Oshkosh 24-5
This was the first meeting of these teams during the 15s season.
Bruisers @ SPASH 12-7
Stevens Point has now won the last two meetings between the clubs after losing their first game against the Bruisers in 2017.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR NEXT WEEK
- This will be the only week this season where every team will play on a Saturday.
- The match up between Madison/Oshkosh and the Bruisers will be a chance for both teams to earn their first win of the season.
