The WGR opened the season on a wet, rainy Thursday with a match up between reigning state champion, DSHA, hosting last year’s 3rd place team, Hamilton. The first week wrapped up on Saturday with a pair of games in the north, hosted by Oshkosh and Pulaski.

Hamilton @ Divine Savior 0-78
These teams met in the last week of the regular season as undefeated teams, DSHA won that battle 86-0.

Catholic Memorial @ DSHA JV 99-0
CMH last played DSHA JV in the 2017 season, defeating them in that match-up, 85-0.

Oak Creek @ Pulaski 10-92
It’s been a while since these teams faced-off in the fall season. Oak Creek got the better of their last contest, 22-12, in 2016.

Stevens Point @ Madison/Oshkosh 60-20
Stevens Point was able to avenge a 25-0 loss in 2017 that left them with out a regular season win in their debut season.
