CMH fights back to win the division title while Green Bay sneaks past Madison to earn the final berth in the state semi-finals. A regular season with a number of surprises finally comes to a close.
CMH defeated Hamilton 26-24 | This match lived up to its billing. Despite Hamilton leading for most of the game (by as much as 12 early in the second half), CMH was able to claw back and slip ahead after a breakaway run with minutes remaining. Hamilton’s last play drive ended just short of the tryline when CMH forced a knock on before Hamilton could punch in the go-ahead try.
Green Bay defeated Madison 27-22 | Green Bay was able to sneak into the last state semi-final spot by defeating Madison at a special event that turned the field of the minor league baseball Green Bay Booyah into a rugby pitch. Green Bay tries were scored by Cece, Noel, Erin, Billy, and Sarah with one conversion made by Cece. Green Bay becomes the first new team in recent memory to earn three wins in their inaugural regular season.
Stevens Point defeated DSHA B 28-5 | Stevens Point finished one of their better regular seasons with a win against DSHA B. The 136 points scored by SPASH this season was a team record.
DSHA defeated Kettle Moraine 70-0 | DSHA finishes the regular season tied for the state lead in wins (4), points scored (215), points allowed (15), and point differential (200).
