Here are all the stories and situations heading into the final weekend of the regular season. Note: errors in anlysis or time changes for future playoff games are possible, so treat these possible playoff situations as “tenative.”

Bruisers | The Bruisers closed out their regular season last week with a last second loss that makes them vulnerable coming into the last week of play. Any result, win or draw, by Green Bay this weekend will cause them to be edged out of the state semi-final game. They would then enter the consolation bracket to play for entry into the 5th place game. If Green Bay cannot close the deal, the will play the winner of CMH/Hamilton in the state semi-final game at 2:00pm on 10/24. A result from Green Bay, would see Brookfield playing the loser of DSHA B/SPASH at 12:30pm on 10/24.

CMH | They have clinched a berth in the state semi-finals. A win against Hamilton this weekend will put them in a 2:00pm game against the the Bruisers or Green Bay on 10/24. A loss sees them play DSHA A at 4pm on 10/24.

DSHA A | They’ve clinched the #1 seed in their division, again. Despite having a game remaining, their win against Green Bay ensured that they will be in the state semi-finals, waiting on the result of this weekend’s CMH/Hamilton game. They will face the loser of that contest at 4:00pm on 10/24.

DSHA B | They are locked into the consolation bracket after their win against Muskego. A win against SPASH this weekend books them a date with Kettle Moraine at 2:00pm on 10/24, a loss has them playing Green Bay or Brookfield at 12:30pm.

Green Bay | After an exciting finish in last weekend’s game against Brookfield, Green Bay controls their own destiny to the state semi-finals. They just need a win or draw against Madison, a team still looking for a win this season. There are other reasons that make this game a special event; they will be playing it at Capital Credit Union Park, home of Green Bay Booyah of the Northwoods League. If they cannot muster a result, they would then enter the consolation bracket to play for entry in the 5th place game. If they win/draw, they will play the winner of CMH/Hamilton at 2:00pm on 10/24. If they lose, the will play the loser of DSHA B/SPASH at 12:30pm on 10/24.

Hamilton | They have clinched a berth in the state semi-finals. A win against CMH this weekend will put them in a 2:00pm game against the the Bruisers or Green Bay on 10/24. A loss sees them play DSHA A at 4pm on 10/24.

Kettle Moraine | This weekend’s result doesn’t affect KM in any way. They won their way out of the state’s ninth place game last wekeend, so they will be in the consolation bracket to play for entry in the 5th place game and will play the winner of DSHA B/SPASH at 2:00pm on 10/24.

Madison | Still looking for a win this season, Madison is locked into playing in the 9th place game at state, no matter what their result is this weekend. They will have a bye the first round of playoffs on 10/24, but there’s talk of creating a developmental game for them that weekend.

Muskego | Like Madison, they are also still looking for a win this season and are locked into playing in the 9th place game at state after finishing the regular season 0-4. They will have a bye the first round of playoffs on 10/24, but there’s talk of creating a developmental game for them that weekend too.
